Social Health X Foundation Bridges the Healthcare Divide

A one size fits all approach doesn’t work when bridging healthcare gaps because community and individual patient needs differ.

At SHX we work side-by-side with community stakeholders. We listen, ask the right questions, analyze responses, and define barriers. SHX also employs social media, best-in-class software, and artificial intelligence platforms. We create community–led action plans to tackle obstacles that prevent people from accessing healthcare services when needed.

We also reach healthcare providers and leaders, pharmaceutical industry workers, and the public through conferences and education programs. We build networks of value-based leaders that drive action in their communities and businesses; programs that drive change at the local level; youth leadership programs that educate young leaders on the benefits of preventative health; seminars in which experts and leaders share essential knowledge; and print and digital media resources that promote innovative thinking and solutions.

Social Health X Foundation Trustee, Joe Luzi, says breaking health equity barriers isn't easy, but the Covid-19 pandemic has shown us the devastation and loss of life that can happen when people are left out. "Social Health X celebrates diversity and inclusion within our culture. The success of healthcare depends upon it. Everyone deserves quality healthcare regardless of age, sex, gender identification, skin color, or where you live."

By helping the healthcare industry connect with underrepresented communities, Social Health X Foundation promotes inclusion and health equity, and it improves the quality of biopharmaceutical research.

“Addressing health equity is much more than a company HR or PR problem. Ensuring people have access to accurate health information, screening tests, treatments, and disease management saves lives. That's how pharma and other healthcare companies build trust and strengthen community bonds. -Younniaa Williams- Trustee
